Shogun Panda is not, as the name would suggest, a martial-arts crazed bear intent on reeking havoc and destruction, but a group of friends whose aim is to supply interesting musical talent for the inhabitants of Oxford. Not affiliated with any specific gig venue, a panda night can magically pop up anywhere - a bit like a ninja in battle.
With the likes of Kimya Dawson, Darren Hanlon, Bearsuit and Dot Allison under their samurai belts, the future of panda-led Oxford music is looking shiny and bright!
